At Doctor's Choice Weight Loss our staff works with you to develop a personalized diet plan tailored to your unique needs.

Your initial visit at Doctor's Choice Weight Loss includes:

• Overview of the Doctor's Choice Weight Loss Program
• Personal evaluation and consultation with a physician
• Review of health history and risk factors
• Review of approaches to reach individual weight loss goals that optimize good health
• Optional consultation with registered dietitian
• First week's medications to get you started
  

The program at Doctor's Choice Weight Loss was developed by the doctors who will manage your diet plan. Drs. Duic and Opyoke's medical expertise includes weight loss, bariatric medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology and cardiology. Their knowledge, in combination with your health history, allows for a personalized program designed to meet your weight loss goals while striving toward optimum health. Once you've reached your target weight, our Free Maintenance Program offers you the continued opportunity to work hand-in-hand with our registered dietitian to ensure that once you take the weight off, you keep the weight off.

Weekly visits to Doctor's Choice Weight Loss include:

• Evaluation of weight loss progress
• Evaluation of diet tolerance/health check
• Evaluation of medication tolerance
• Optional consultation with registered dietitian
• Optional consultation with physician
• Weekly medication provided

Along with our physicians, we encourage you to meet with our registered dietitian (RD), at no extra cost, as you progress through the program and beyond.

The RD at Doctor's Choice Weight Loss's training is different from that of a nutritionist because she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Institutional Management and completed a clinical internship at West Virginia University Hospital. After completion of her internship she was eligible for and passed the national Registration Examination to earn her RD. She is an excellent resource as she has a vast knowledge of nutritional and dietary needs. Together you can discuss food choices that will optimize your results and lead you toward a healthier lifestyle.
